We are seeking a dedicated and motivated Physician Assistant to join a growing Gastroenterology practice in Bakersfield, California. This is an excellent opportunity for a provider looking for a stable, outpatient-focused role with a strong work-life balance and supportive clinical environment.
Position Highlights:
- Full-time, Monday–Friday schedule.
- No weekends and no call requirements.
- Clinic-only practice (outpatient setting).
- Competitive compensation starting at approximately $140,000 (negotiable based on experience).

Responsibilities:
- Provide comprehensive outpatient GI care under physician supervision.
- Evaluate, diagnose, and manage a variety of gastrointestinal conditions.
- Conduct patient histories, physical exams, and follow-up visits.
- Order and interpret diagnostic tests as appropriate.
- Develop and implement treatment plans in collaboration with supervising physicians.
- Educate patients on disease management, medications, and lifestyle modifications.
Candidate Requirements:
- Certified Physician Assistant (PA-C).
- Spanish-speaking preferred (training available for the right candidate).
- Strong communication and patient-care skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced outpatient clinic.
- GI experience is a plus but not required—willing to train the right provider.
